FORIEGN SATELLITE CHANNELS

A number of members are asking why Blyth Golf Club are not screening live premiership football matches through a foriegn satellite system. There appears to be an opinion that since it was reported that a publican won her case against Sky Television, that it is now legal to screen live matches with this type of equipment. The Directors of Blyth Golf Club have consitently been guided by infomation we receive both from the English Golf Union and the National Golf Clubs Advisory Association.
