The 1905 Bar

Our refurbished clubhouse bar looks straight out over the course, seats up to 120 and is yours to use for scoring, prizes and a drink afterwards.

Free parking and changing rooms

A large free car park right by the clubhouse, plus changing rooms and somewhere secure to leave bags.

Questions

Good to know

The things societies usually ask before they book.

How many players do we need?

There is no minimum. Society rates are set by group size, starting at one to eight players, and the discount grows from nine players upwards. The Gallacher’s and Dickie Pit packages are priced from nine players.

When can we play?

Weekdays give us the most flexibility. Weekend slots are possible around the club fixture list, so it is worth asking early — popular dates in the summer tend to go a long way ahead.

What about deposits and cancellations?

A deposit secures the date and comes off the final bill. Final numbers are needed seven days before, and that is the number we charge for. Full terms are set out in your booking confirmation.

Can we change the catering?

Yes. The packages are a starting point — swap the meal, add soup and sandwiches at the turn, or build the whole day from the list above. Dietary requirements are no problem with a bit of notice.

Buggies, trolleys and the pro shop

Buggies and trolleys can be reserved in advance and are subject to availability and course conditions. The pro shop can also help with prizes, balls and anything your winners might like.

Is there a dress code?

Normal golf attire on the course, and smart casual in the clubhouse. Denim and football colours are not permitted in the bar.
